database administration training
Database Administration training program graduates will enter a multifaceted, fast paced environment that offers eager graduates multiple, well paid career choices. Certified database administrators can choose from a wide variety of focus areas. However, as with most careers, the more well rounded your skills, the better your job opportunities will be.
A database administrator maintains, develops, administers and implements policies and procedures for ensuring the security and integrity of the company's database. A DBA will also be part of implementing data models and database designs, data access and table maintenance codes; resolving database performance issues, database capacity issues, replication, and other distributed data issues. A database administrator, along with data architects will also be a part of developing strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
Students will gain practical experience performing real-world administrative tasks, such as installation, backup, recovery and managing security using Server tools. Courses also introduce routine and non-routine DBA tasks including, moving database files, managing database access locks, recovering from host or application failures, and backing up and restoring databases. By the end of a Database Administration training program, graduates will be able to create and manage database users, implement a security system to control their activities, define a backup strategy and perform recovery in the event of a system failure and fine tune the database to optimize performance.
Whether you are looking for a new career, or strengthening the skills you already have, taking database administration training courses will give you the knowledge you need to gain solid employment.
